SEAMLESS STEEL PIPES
Seamless steel pipes are manufactured without a welded seam, providing a continuous pipe structure suitable for demanding operating conditions. They are commonly specified for pressure piping, high-temperature service, low-temperature systems and critical process applications.
Common seamless pipe specifications include:
- ASTM A106 Grades A, B and C
- ASTM A333 Grades 1, 3 and 6

WELDED STEEL PIPES
Welded steel pipes are manufactured by forming steel plate or coil and joining the edges through a controlled welding process. They provide a practical solution for large-diameter pipelines, water systems, structural applications and industrial projects.
Available manufacturing methods may include:
- Electric Resistance Welded - ERW
- Electric Fusion Welded - EFW
- Submerged Arc Welded - SAW
- Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded - LSAW
- Spiral Submerged Arc Welded - SSAW
The appropriate pipe manufacturing method depends on the required size, material grade, pressure rating, service conditions and project specification.
AVAILABLE PIPE MATERIALS
Carbon Steel Pipes
Carbon steel pipes offer strength, durability and cost efficiency for general pressure service and industrial process piping. Common specifications include ASTM A53, ASTM A106 and API 5L.
Low-Temperature Carbon Steel Pipes
ASTM A333 low-temperature carbon steel pipes are designed for services requiring dependable impact toughness at reduced temperatures.
Alloy Steel Pipes
ASTM A335 alloy steel pipes are commonly used in high-pressure and high-temperature services requiring improved strength, creep resistance and thermal performance.
Stainless Steel Pipes
ASTM A312 stainless steel pipes provide corrosion resistance for chemical processing, offshore, marine and corrosive industrial environments.
Duplex and Super Duplex Pipes
Duplex and super duplex stainless steel pipes combine high mechanical strength with strong resistance to pitting, chloride corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Common grades include UNS S31803, S32205, S32750 and S32760.
PIPE SIZES AND CONFIGURATIONS
Falak Engineering can source seamless and welded pipes according to the following requirements:
- Sizes from ½ inch to 48 inches, subject to specification and availability
- Schedule 10, 20, 40, 80 and 160
- STD, XS and XXS wall thicknesses
- ASME B36.10M carbon and alloy steel dimensions
- ASME B36.19M stainless steel dimensions
- Single Random Length and Double Random Length
- Plain, bevelled, threaded or coupled ends
- Fixed and project-specific cut lengths
Larger diameters and special wall thicknesses may also be sourced based on mill availability.
API 5L LINE PIPE
Falak Engineering supplies API 5L line pipes for transporting oil, natural gas, water and other fluids through pipeline systems.
API 5L requirements may include Grade B, X42, X52, X60, X65 or X70 in PSL1 or PSL2. Pipes may be supplied in seamless, ERW, LSAW or SSAW construction, depending on diameter, grade and project requirements.
Sour-service, NACE, coating, testing and inspection requirements should be confirmed during the enquiry stage.
